The Integrated National Board Dental Examination (INBDE) assesses candidates’ aptitude to practice dentistry according to United States’ standards, providing information to the dental boards of the United States. All internationally trained dentists who are interested in practicing dentistry in the United States are required to take and pass this exam. The INBDE examination consists of 500 multiple-choice questions that cover the Domain of Dentistry (this includes clinical content and foundational knowledge areas).
The INBDE is a two-day examination administered electronically. The exam is set in the following format:
Examinees can expect to spend approximately 12 hours and 30 minutes completing both sections of the exam, including tutorials and scheduled breaks.

*Our passing guarantee is activated when a trainee can prove that they were unable to pass the INBDE exam while having passed all mock exams (passing grade is 75%), attended 90% or more of lectures, and completed all cases with an overall score is above 75%. Qualifying trainees will be allowed to take another INBDE course within the following cycle or the cycle that follows that.
