Course Overview

As training doctors prepare for the National Dental Examination of Clinical Competence (NDECC®) exam, we at Prep Doctors aim to ensure that thorough preparation is available so you can clear the third part of your dental equivalency process.

The Situational Judgement Practice course is designed to ensure you are prepared to navigate and solve problems in clinical situations. This course focuses on the five core competencies outlined by the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB). With 12 mini-mock exams, you will practice five competencies and receive same-day personalized feedback from actors. The mini-mock exams are always followed by a discussion session led by experienced instructors who will provide overall feedback, allowing training doctors to reflect on their performance, understand their strengths and weaknesses, and adapt their approach.

Format

Consists of 5 stations, including role-play scenario stations and written stations.

Feedback and Clarification

Feedback is given by actors as well as instructors. The post-mini mock discussion will be 2-3 hours, and an in-depth review of all 5 stations will be provided, including both written and roleplay components.
