Prerequisite: Mastering the Basics of Surgery
ADMISSION RESTRICTION — Educational Rationale This course is restricted to licensed dentists who have previously completed Prep Doctors’ Mastering the Basics of Surgery course. This restriction exists for the following educational reasons: - Cadaveric training requires foundational familiarity with surgical instrumentation, tissue handling, and extraction sequencing to derive meaningful learning benefit.
- Participants without a surgical baseline cannot safely or productively engage with advanced cadaveric dissection and full-arch clearance workflows.
- The instructor-to-participant supervision model is calibrated for participants who do not require introductory surgical instruction.
Enrollment verification: Prior course completion is confirmed through Prep Doctors’ participant records. If you are unsure whether you qualify, contact Prep Doctors before registering. |
Course Overview
Build Real Surgical Confidence on Real Anatomy
Surgical workflows and clinical protocols are taught in the classroom — but tactile surgical competence is built through repetition on real tissue. This course bridges that gap with a fully supervised cadaveric training environment designed specifically for dentists who have completed foundational surgical education and are ready to elevate their hands-on skill.
Participants work with real human cadaver tissue at a ratio of one cadaver per two participants, guided throughout by an experienced instructor. You will navigate actual anatomical structures, experience true tissue resistance, and build the muscular memory that simulations cannot replicate.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PARTICIPANTS
Participation in this course does not authorize, certify, or guarantee clinical competency in oral surgery. Participants are responsible for practicing within their professional registration, legal scope of practice, training, and applicable regulatory requirements. Participants are cautioned that cadaveric training does not substitute for supervised live-patient clinical experience, and that new surgical techniques or procedures should not be incorporated into clinical practice without adequate additional supervised clinical exposure. Prep Doctors Corp does not assume liability for the misuse or unsupervised application of any technique, workflow, or clinical concept presented in this course.
